Obituary for Marc Andre De Champlain

Marc Andre De Champlain, 83, of Perry, GA passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021.
Marc was born on August 9, 1938. He had no children, but was predeceased by his sister, Simone De Champlain, who lived in Canada.
Marc always called himself a “South Florida Boy”. This is where he spent most of his celebrated Horsemans life, training some of the top horses on the East Coast of the United States. He specialized in Quarter Horses and all the western events, particularly reining, where he won the coveted Quarter Horse Congress twice. A feat many people dream of doing once, let alone twice.
Marc was best known as the most successful western trainer on the East Coast—His name was known everywhere, and he will be missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife and life partner, Donna Timmons, and his beloved dog, Buford.
With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
