Warner Robins – Joyce Hicks Culpepper, 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 10, 2016. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel.

Joyce was born on March 12, 1945 in Warner Robins, Georgia on Robins Air Force Base. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She loved to vacation in the mountains. She was preceded in death by her loving husband James “Jimmy” Culpepper, her parents, Calvin and Willie Mae Horton, and her siblings: Lonnie Horton, Ralph Horton, and Eula Daniels.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving son, Rodney Hicks (Angela), Warner Robins; Rodney Hicks, Sr., her former spouse whom she cared for up until her death and her grandson, Nathan Cannon (Houston), Warner Robins; her great-grandchildren: Laila Cannon, Carly Cannon, Eason West; nieces and nephews: Mark Horton (Teresa); Keith Horton (Nancy); Kim Hancock (Rusty); Sherril Hicks Sellars (Jason) and several other extended family members.
