Obituary for Mckenzie U. Brooks
BONAIRE, GA- Mckenzie Brooks, 11, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at the Houston Medical Center. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Pastor Wayne Lenderman will officiate.
Mckenzie was born on February 4, 2008 to James Brooks Jr. and Michele (Valles) Brooks. She loved gymnastics, dancing and making slime. She just finished fifth grade at Perdue Elementary School and was excited to be entering the sixth grade this fall. Mckenzie will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, James Brooks, Sr. and maternal grandmother, Roberta Valles.
Her precious memory will be forever cherished by her parents, sisters, Ternique Mosley and Jmariuna Brooks, brother, James Brooks, III, paternal grandfather, Larry Fields, Sr., maternal grandmother, Bernice Walden and godmother, Sharon Cooper.
