Obituary for Melanie Buffington Berryhill (Buffington)

Warner Robins- Melanie Buffington Berryhill, 64, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 2,2020. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 11:00a.m.
Melanie was born in Augusta, GA, on September 30,1956 to the late Howard and Florence Carter Buffington. She worked over 20 years on RAFB in Civil Service and then retired as a contractor from S&K Global Solutions. Melanie loved her pets and was a huge GA Bulldog fan. She enjoyed reading and cooking. She taught her daughter to listen to Larry Muson early in life as a Dawg Fan. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and recently going to church as she surrendered her life to Christ.
Melanie took great joy in praying for her daughter to get a teaching/coaching position. She was preceded in death by her children: Howard Lewis Buffington; Wesley Will Berryhill; and Bailey Florence Berryhill; her aunts and uncles: C.C. Buffington(Vera); Will Buffington (Connie); Gerald Carter; her brother in law, Bill Bietler and her beloved fur babies: BB and Buttons Berryhill.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved daughter, Tinsley Berryhill; her sister June Bietler and her loving fur babies: Barnabas “Tonto” and beloved Tessie Berryhilll. Elaine and Clay Thigpen, Chat Berryhill and Bunnie Collins, Beverly Moore, Tommy Burke, Andi and Todd Alexander, many friends and Georgia Fans.
