Obituary for Michael Lewis Robinson Sr.

Michael Lewis Robinson, Sr. was born on April 30, 1960, in Syracuse, New York to the late Otis Robinson and Mildred (Mathis) Robinson.
He moved from Syracuse to Georgia at the age of 11 and attended the public schools of Crawford County. He worked as plant supervisor at Woolfolk (Sure Co) and later worked as the head of Maintenance at Fort Valley Health Care and Rehab in Peach County until his health failed.
“Pops/Popsicle” as he was lovingly called by his grandkids passed away peacefully on Monday, November 29th, knowing he was loved and cherished. Michael was a wonderful, caring father and grandfather who loved his family deeply and genuinely cared for everyone he came to meet.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Anne Parks and his brother, Nathaniel Robinson, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory, three children: a daughter, Shalandria Robinson (Cortney), and two sons, Michael Louis Robinson, Jr. (Melinda), and Kelcey Miguel Bartlett. Six grandchildren: Jasmine D. Bass, Keyera D. Bass, Austin C. Bass, Jadah M. Robinson, Michael L. Robinson, III, and Emma R. Robinson; brothers and sisters: Ora Lee Hemphill, James (Angela) Robinson, Mildred (Frank) Parks, Johnnie (Kasandra) Robinson, Lynda (Eric) Robinson, Lamar (Tatia) Robinson; two bonus brothers: Walter Girdner and Jerry Girdner, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
