Perry, GA – M.L. Holland, 77, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at his residence. Services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00 am at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. M.L. was born on October 19, 1947 in Dodge County to the late M.L. and Ethel (Brack) Holland. He worked hard all his life to provide for his family, primarily in the appliance repair industry. M.L. was very skilled in many areas of trade and was happiest when he was working. He worked at Robins Air Force Base as a sub-contractor for about 20 years with C.T. Bone Construction, Pope Maintenance and Dynateria. He loved to fish, shop yard and junk sales and socializing and drinking coffee at the Waffle House. M.L. would often spend time riding his grandkids around the yard on his lawnmower. In addition to his parents, M.L. was preceded in death by his son, Michael Holland.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Cathy (Clark) Holland of Perry; sons: Mitchell Holland, T.J. Davis (Katie Hall)and Richard Davis; daughters: Melissa Holland (Quincy Gonder),Danielle Davis and his special grandson, Robert Davis; 25 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
