Obituary for Nelda Delaine Haff (Worley)
Nelda Delaine (Worley) Haff, 82, went on to be with the Lord July 24, 2022. Nelda was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 10:00 am, at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Service will follow at 11:00 am, with Chaplain Lisa Johnson officiating.
Nelda a loving wife and mother was born October 20, 1939 in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, to the late Edgar and Pearl (Lowdermilk) Worley. After graduating high school, she married, and had three children. She was a homemaker, social worker, and a truck driver. Nelda had many talents she loved to sew and decorate her home. Among her favorite things to do was spending time out in her garden birdwatching amongst her flowers. She was a faithful follower of the Lord and would be seen reading her bible and singing hymns. She loved traveling with her loving husband and spending time with her family. Nelda was predeceased by her son, Vernon Purdy.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Mark Alan Haff; her daughters: Karen Purdy, Springfield, MO; Virginia Segers, Byron, GA; her 6 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
