Obituary for OUIDA FAY SMALLWOOD (Farr)
Perry, GA – Ouida Fay (Farr) Smallwood, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at the Summerhill Assisted Living. Services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Henderson Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with visitation for family and friends one hour prior and immediately following the services. Reverend Matthew Loafman will be officiating the services. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Flint River FCA, P.O. Box 6308, Warner Robins, GA 31095, with FCA outdoors in the subject line.
Ouida was born on March 6, 1946, in Perry, GA to the late Aubrey and Louise (Rackley) Farr. She worked in parts sales at Blue Bird Body Company until her retirement. She enjoyed softball, working in her yard, and gardening with her father in her spare time. Ouida was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jimmy Smallwood of Perry, GA; daughters: Kimberly Smallwood of Florida, and Kerri Chapman (Jason) of Warner Robins, GA; son: Lee Smallwood (Jeanna) of Perry, GA; grandchildren: Megan, Caitlyn, River, Hunter, and Bishop; brother: Aubrey Farr, Jr. (Sissy) of Norcross, GA; sisters: Betty Farr Wages of Gainesville, GA, Wanda Farr Stephens (Ralph) of Marietta, GA, and Judy Kersey (Wendell) of Henderson, GA; several nieces and nephews.
