Fort Valley, GA – Pamela Jane (English) Kirby, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 9, 2022, at the Atrium Health Navicent Peach Hospital in Byron, GA. A memorial gathering celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Pamela was born on March 17, 1953, in Warner Robins, GA to the late Alva and Dorothy (Grace) English. She was a dedicated and faithful homemaker. Pamela enjoyed shopping, being in the outdoors, specifically, camping and rafting in the mountains. She was a Betty Boop fan, loved her jewelry and loved animals of all kinds, especially her rat terrier, Bella and her cat, Kitty Kitty.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Joseph Kirby of Fort Valley, GA; son: Wayne Thompson (Mauri) of Fort Valley, GA; daughters: Kim Kelly and Melissa Kirby both of Perry, GA; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister: Paula Abbott (Doug) of Fort Valley, GA; brother: Tim English of Roberta, GA.
