Obituary for Patricia Ann Nolen (Jackson)

Patricia Ann Nolen, 79, of Warner Robins, passed away on May 25th 2021 after a brief illness. A Macon native, Pat graduated from Dudley Hughes High School. She worked at various places in Macon including Grant’s Department Store while in high school, later at GEICO, and eventually retired from the Chapter 13 Trustees Office. Adventurous and independent, she traveled solo to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia in the mid-90s to visit her son and his family while they lived in the area. Also, a huge fan of Elvis Presley since her teenage years, she loved her birthday trip (jokingly known as “the Elvis Tour”) to Tupelo and Graceland in 2011. Pat loved taking care of her dog, her garden, and her family and friends. Most importantly, she was a faithful Christian, and is now in her heavenly home.

Pat is survived by her son, Troy L. DeRosa (wife Linda) of Warner Robins, brothers Jerry Jackson of Macon and Wayne Jackson of Byron; grandchildren Daniel DeRosa (wife Alexandra), Christina DeRosa Hussey (husband Jonathan), and Jonathan DeRosa; great grandchildren Amelia, Michael, and Lillian DeRosa of Warner Robins, and Elodie and Leon Hussey (and soon to be baby brother) of Charlotte, NC; and nephew Tim Crosby of Macon.

Pat is preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Cravey Ruff, father Otis L. Jackson, sister Tommie Aldridge, and aunt Jackie Roquemore Johson.

Funeral Services will be held at Burpee-Scott Funeral Home in Warner Robins, Ga. on Sunday, May 30th. Visitation at 2pm, with Service at 3pm. Burial will follow at Avondale Baptist Church in Macon, Ga.
