Fort Valley, GA – Patrick Leonard, 80, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Summerhill Senior Living Community. Services celebrating his life will be on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. A visitation for Mr. Leonard will be Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Patrick was born on August 12, 1942, in Englefield Green, England to the late John Charles and Mary (McElroy) Leonard. He went on to become maintenance supervisor at Fort Valley State University. He was an avid History Buff and always had projects going on outside. Patrick’s favorite sports teams were Chelsea FC and of course the Georgia Bulldogs. Most of all, Patrick loved his family very much. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Donna Leonard; children: Shaun Leonard (Dawn), Kevin Leonard (Kerry), Robert Jackson (Lauren), and Jeff Jackson (Tiffany); grandchildren: Faith Jackson, Ian Leonard, Jillian Jackson, Josh Jackson, and Jeffrey Jackson.
