Obituary for Colonel (Ret.) Patrick "Rage" Ragan, USAF

Warner Robins, GA - Colonel (Ret.) Patrick “Rage” Ragan, USAF, 44, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021. A 24-month battle with glioblastoma brain cancer forced him to undertake his final mission to answer Heaven's call, reluctantly leaving his beautiful wife of 15 years, Rachael Weller Ragan, and his 2 lovely daughters, Rowan, 8, and Liliana, 4. Remaining behind, and proudly, but sadly, saluting Patrick are his father and mother, Tennessee State Representative John and Elizabeth Ragan and his sister, Amanda Ragan. In addition to his immediate family, Patrick also leaves behind his beloved nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Patrick was born on December 31, 1976, in Wichita Falls, TX. He achieved a master’s degree in Aeronautical Science. He was also an Alumni of The University of Tennessee. Patrick was proud to serve as a F-16 Fighter Pilot in the United States Air Force. He also worked as a pilot for Delta airlines.

Patrick's family and legion of friends from across the country will be celebrating his life with full military honors at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory in Warner-Robins on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 2:00 PM. The visitation will begin an hour prior to the service, on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, from 1:00 PM -2:00 PM at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. In lieu of flowers. the family has asked for donations to be made in his memory to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, www.NATIONALPCF.ORG .
