Obituary for Paul Eugene Gray

Byron, GA – Paul Eugene Gray, 15, went home to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, August 20, 2021, in his home, with family by his side. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior and immediately following the services. The family accepts flowers. If any wish to provide a donation in lieu of flowers, please make to Atrium Health Navicent, Beverly Knight Olsen Children's Hospital, 888 Pine St, Macon, GA 31201, or online at https://childrenshospitalnh.org.
Paul was born on May 17, 2006, in Macon, GA. He is the son of Gail (Griffin) Gray and Charles Randall Gray. He had such an amazing impact on the lives of everyone he met. Paul was non-verbal, but his smile and his bright blue eyes would brighten anyone’s day. He was a fighter from the time he was born until his final breath. Despite Paul’s daily medical challenges, and without the ability to speak a single word, he taught others about love and life with only his smile! He touched more lives in his 15 years than most people who have lived a lifetime. Paul will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved mother, Gail Gray of Byron, GA; father: Randall Gray (Gloria) of Byron, GA; siblings: Nathan Gray (Chelcey) of Satellite Beach, FL, Kalee Wade (Corey) of Byron, GA, Ben Gray (Megan) of Byron, GA and Lucas Gray of Charleston, SC; nieces: Hallie, Emma, and Rose; nephews: Xavi, River, Leo, Abram, and Benji; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
The family would like to extend a warm and heartfelt thank you to all the nurses and caregivers who loved and cared for Paul around the clock.
With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
