Kathleen, GA – Paul Michael Kurek, 69, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at his daughter’s residence. After months of declining health, he left peacefully surrounded by family. Services celebrating his life will be held by his family at a later date.
Paul was born on August 18, 1951 in Chicago, IL to the late Chester and Doris Kurek. Most who knew Paul, knew that he was a quiet man. Those that knew him well, knew that he was a generous father and always there for his family. His greatest joys in life, although he loved his daughters, were his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Starlett (Pence) Kurek.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Kimberly Ingram (Shane) of St. Charles, IL, Candice Wilson (Edward) of Kathleen, GA and Paula Thul (Dennis) of Lake Villa, IL; grandchildren: Nautyca (21), Jaidyn (15), Hannah (12), Emily (11) and Kerry (9); sisters: Christine Karolewski (Joe), Colleen Myers (Kevin) and Margaret Ross (Brett).
