Perry, GA – Phyllis Ann (Blalock) Hagin, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 17, 2023, at the Houston Medical Center. The services celebrating her life will be done privately by her family.
Phyllis was born on May 2, 1961, in Reynolds, GA to Robert and Ernestine (Giles) Blalock. She was a former city clerk for Montezuma, GA for many years until her health declined. Phyllis enjoyed reading and gardening in her spare time. She also loved to decorate and was quite talented. She used her talents to minister to others by buying décor and decorating for others. Phyllis was a very giving person and always put others before herself. She was a mother to many, loved her family, but her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Nicole Bond (Bobby) of Fort Valley, Amanda Toomer of Perry, and Jessica Adams (Jonathan) of Perry; five grandchildren: Tristen Toomer, Jordyn Toomer, Caleb Bond, Cadence Adams, and Braxton Adams; sisters: Kelly Gray of Cordele, Patricia DeLoach (Grady) of Perry, and Deborah Highsmith (Danny) of Fort Valley; brother: Robbie Blalock of Wetumpka, AL; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
