Kingsland, Georgia – After a battle with cancer, on April 27, 2021, Ralph James Alligood JR., 73, went to his heavenly home with his family at his bedside. A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Sunday May 2, 2021; 3:00pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial & Crematory. The family will receive friends at 2:00pm. Reverend Russ Bozeman will officiate.
Ralph was born on June 3, 1948 to the late Ralph James Alligood SR. and Mae Bernice Alligood of Macon, Georgia. Ralph enjoyed life to the fullest with an infectious smile and bringing about belly laughs. Ralph had a great love of all sports but, his true love was spending time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph James Alligood SR. and Mae Bernice Alligood, brothers, John Alligood and Butch Alligood.
His memories are left to be forever cherished by his loving wife of 43 years Diane Alligood, sister Patsy Alligood, sister in laws Pam Alligood and Jan Alligood, sons Todd Alligood (Cynthia), Chad Alligood (Talisha), Chris Alligood (Jennifer) and Tim Hill, daughter Tonja Hill, grandchildren Tiffany Willis (Sidney), Brittany Etheridge (Travis), Ashley Mclendon (Corey), Natalie Johnson (Jeffrey), Glavin Sikes (Ashley), Blake, Colton, Hunter and Ashlyn. Great Grandchildren Alyssa, Mackinsey, Tristan, Genna, Phillip, Marissa, Jeffrey Jr., Serenity, Mason, Jake, Lizzy, Ryan, Liam (Elam), Rayley Kate, Waylon, Lilly, Donald and his precious fur baby Coco. Additionally, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
