Elko, GA- Raymond Edward Lamb, Sr., 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at his residence. Services celebrating his life will be held at a later date. Raymond was born on August 27, 1946 to the late Burrell and Doris (Taylor) Lamb. He worked for the majority of his career as a supervisor at the Blue Bird Corporation and enjoyed spending his time riding horses and watching Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings football. He was deeply loved by his family and will be missed by all who knew him. Raymond is preceded in death by his brothers, Willievester and Ronnie.
His memory will be forever cherished by his loving children, Tanze, Mandy (Gordon) and Raymond (Michelle); his grandchildren, Jessie, Tabitha, Francy (Shawn), Andrew (Brittany), Gordy, Jeff (Amber), Jacob, Becky; great grandchildren, Hayden, Scarlett, Ava Grace, Nevaeha, Shawn Jr., Bailey, Brantley, Emerson, Jake, Milena and Ava Rose, his former wife of fifty four years, Brenda Lamb, siblings; Joyce (Leeroy), Wilson, Donnie (Lourane), Marilyn, sister-in-law Beth Lamb and several nieces and nephews.
