Obituary for Reba Nell Quinones (Cross)
Warner Robins, GA – Reba Nell Cross Quinones, 86, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 12, 2021. The visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 12:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel and a service celebrating her life will follow at 1:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens.
Reba was born on November 23, 1934, in Arabi, GA to the late Otis Wheeler and Minnie Lou (Jones) Cross. She worked as a bookkeeper until retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and being a part of her church. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and reading. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Clarence Cross, Frances Coley, Louise Cannady, Ruth Warner, Betty Pope, and Floyd Cross.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children: Audrey Mabry (Joel); Betsy Moore(Lenwood); Becky Moncrief; Alton “Buddy” Hayes(Jeanne Smith); her grandchildren: Nancy Huitt(Chris); Alton Hayes, Jr. (Jessica); Rachel Moncrief; Erica Moore; Paul Hayes and Angie Ferguson; nine great-grandchildren; siblings: Pat House, Evelyn Reeves, James Cross, John Cross, Marie Cross, and Fred Cross and many nieces and nephews.
