Obituary for Richard Clint Trawick Sr.

Bonaire, GA – Richard Clint Trawick, Sr., 62, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital of Pensacola. Services celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 11:00 am at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with interment following at Alabama Heritage Cemetery at 3:30 pm CST in Montgomery, AL. Reverend Bruce Brookshire will be officiating. The family accepts flowers but ask that any donations be made to any organizations that support veterans.
Clint was born on December 16, 1958, in Abbeville, AL to the late Richard and Jane (White) Trawick. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Coast Guard. Clint was a former civil service employee at Robins Air Force Base and was currently working as a defense contractor with BAE Systems. He was a former little league coach and an avid Auburn Tiger fan. Clint enjoyed traveling to the beach and the mountains, especially while riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He rode many miles to most of the famous bike rally’s, such as Daytona Beach, FL and Sturgis, SD, just to name a few. He loved listening to southern rock, specifically The Allman Brothers Band. Clint greatest joy came from his family. In addition to his parents, Clint was preceded in death by his son, Richard Clint Trawick, Jr.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 11 years, Angelia (Edwards) Trawick of Bonaire; daughter: Elida Bert (Chris) of Colorado Springs, CO; step-daughter: Ashley Romeo of Lizella, GA; step-sons: Josh Powers of Warner Robins and Jacob Powers (Olivia) of Perry; grandchildren: Gavin Trawick, Elika Bert, Autumn, Clayton, Carson and Ashton Romeo; brothers: Heath Trawick (Stacey) of Jasper, GA and Todd Trawick (Mandy) of Auburn, AL; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
