Warner Robins, GA – Robert Kevin Ard, Sr., 57, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services and immediately following. Flowers are accepted, but the family has requested any donations to please be made to Serenity Hospice, 1057 North Houston Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31093.
Kevin was born on February 12, 1961 in Barnesville, GA to Ben Jeff Ard (Mary Lee) of Thomaston, GA and the late Mildred Lee (Garrett) Ard. He was a skilled plumber who worked hard all his life to provide for his family. When he wasn’t working, Kevin could be found at one of his many fishing holes or watching NASCAR. He was a huge Bill Elliott fan. He also enjoyed gardening and just being outdoors, listening to music, especially Elvis, or spending time with his family and friends, which he loved dearly. In addition to his mother, Kevin was preceded in death by his grandmother, who raised him, Ruby Payne Garrett, his sister, Suzette Avery and his brother, Benji Ard.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Felicia Thornton of Warner Robins, Kelly Foschini ( Rick) of Bonaire and Robert Kevin Ard, Jr. of Warner Robins; 2 grandchildren: Brittany and Blake Thornton; 2 great-grandchildren: Clayton and Noah Hickman; sisters: Paula Nicholson and Tina Lucille McDaniel; brothers: Kenny Foskey, Perry Ard and Mark Ard.
