Obituary for Robert Morgan Forney
Perry, GA – Robert Morgan Forney, 79, died on Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Heart of Georgia Inpatient Unit in Perry.
Robert was born on August 22, 1941 in Winchester, VA to the late Bill and Nancy (Swimley) Forney. He faithfully and honorably served his country in The United States Marine Corps. Robert retired from Robins Air Force Base as a civil service employee, having worked in procurement. He loved being in the outdoors, especially at his hunting club and deer hunting. Robert also enjoyed fishing and wood carving. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, David Forney.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Cheryl (Gordy) Forney; sons: Shaughn Forney and Kyle Forney (Mary); step-son: Kevin Reid (Angela); grandchildren: Jordan Reid, Taylor Reid and Morgan Forney; great-grandchildren: Aubreigh Forney and Wyatt Forney; sisters: Charise Galloway and Debbie Haymaker.
