Obituary for Ruth Smith (Hayes)
Warner Robins, GA – Ruth Hayes Smith, 74, passed into the arms of her loving Savior, on Saturday, January 8, 2022. The family will host visitation on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. The service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Reverend Phill Bryant will officiate.
Ruth was born on December 2, 1947, in Monticello, GA to the late Emory Coyle and Nell (McElheney) Hayes. Ruth worked as a dental hygienist for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed being outside amongst the trees and flowers. She loved cheering for the Atlanta Braves. Ruth enjoyed shopping and collecting jewelry.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Robert Allen Smith, her adoring children: Kacey Lee Smith, and Kristy Smith Ross (Erwin); her grandson, Alexander Ross; her sister, Cynthia Hayes Smith and her beloved fur-baby, Kaylee.
