Warner Robins, GA – Sarah Ellen (Shell) Allen, 94, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at The Lodge in Warner Robins, GA. Services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 4:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with Minister Daniel Stearsman officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Ralph, in Resthaven Cemetery in Baxter, KY.
Sarah was born on July 6, 1927, in Leslie County, KY to the late Stewart and Matilda (Green) Shell. She grew up in and around Harlan County, KY. She married William Ralph Allen and they resided in Dayton, OH and San Antonio, TX before moving to Warner Robins, GA in the early 1970’s. She worked at Robins Air Force Base until her retirement as an administrative assistant. Sarah was an active and long-time member of the Warner Robins Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, William Ralph Allen, and their son, Ralph Wayne Allen.
Left to cherish her memory is her grandson, Will Allen (Valerie), grandchildren, and many extended family and friends.
