Perry, GA – Sharon (Gormley) Fiore, 82, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, GA. At the request of her family, services will be held at a later date.
Sharon was born on February 13, 1938 in Kingston, NY to the late Gerald and Kathryn Myrtle (Osterhoudt) Gormley. She lived her childhood life in Phoenicia, NY. Sharon retired from MetLife after many years of service. She enjoyed reading, watching the news, doing laundry and shopping at the dollar store. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Isabelle Fiore and her sister, Maryann “Honey” Whalen.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 65 years, Francis P. Fiore of Perry, GA; children: Kathy Hayman (Michael) of Perry, GA, Pete Fiore (Terry) of Warner Robins, GA, and Jerry Fiore (Patricia) of Poughkeepsie, NY; grandchildren: Kaela Dees, Alyson Hayman, Jay Fiore (Debra), Cara Fiore, Shannon Fiore, Ian Fiore, and Eileen Fiore; great-grandchildren: Kylie Dees, Kaytlyn Dees and Jacob Dunlap; sister: Sheila Palen; several nieces and nephews.
