Hawkinsville, GA- Sherry Kay Archie, 57, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019 at her daughter’s residence. Services celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. A viewing for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services.
Sherry was born on August 9, 1961 in Watervliet, MI to the late James David and Emily Gaynell (Nix) Craig. She was a former pool technician with Mid-State Pools but primarily was a homemaker. Sherry enjoyed darts, crocheting, and making dream catchers. She loved to sing, watch hummingbirds but her greatest joy came from her family.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Charles Jearl Archie, Sr.; daughter: Jennifer Acker (Robert); son: Charles Jearl Archie, Jr. (Crystal); grandchildren: Brandon Mullis, Damian Archie, Rebecca Acker and Jeremiah Acker; her beloved dog: Taco; siblings: Patty Albrecht (Skip), James David Craig, Jr. (Brenda), Angelia Pointer and many nieces and nephews.
