I've known Mr. Adkins for a long time. His Mother-in-Law lived down the street from my family when I was a teenager and I met him when he and his family would visit from Reidsville, GA. I was friends with his daughter Wendi and always liked Mr. Adkins as he had a low key, laid back demeanor. Recently, Mr. Adkins started doing my Mother's taxes after my Father passed and I was able to spend a little time with him and noticed that he hadn't changed at all, which I considered a good thing. He was a very nice person and extremely helpful to my Mother and me and I felt better knowing that he was just down the street from my Mother if she needed anything. His passing has surprised and shocked me and I wanted to send my sincere condolences to his family.

I have known Steve for only a few years while working with him at HRB seasonally, and the knowledge, wisdom, and friendship he shared with me is priceless. I will truly miss the great discussions we had at the office. You have blessed me immensely. I pray peace and comfort for your family and loved ones. Rest well, my friend.
