Obituary for Sue Ellen Conley

Warner Robins, GA – Sue Ellen (Chandler) Conley, 71, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 2, 2021, at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, GA surrounded by her family. Services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 11:00 am at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with entombment immediately following at Magnolia Park Cemetery and Mausoleum. The viewing for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Reverend Richard Azbell will be officiating the services.
Sue was born on April 21, 1950, in Winter Haven, FL to the late Joseph and Lottie (Woodard) Chandler. She was a charter member of Faith Assembly of God in Warner Robins, GA. Sue was a 1968 graduate of Northside High School. She worked many years as a teller at Robins Financial Credit Union. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, crafting, vacationing at the beach and loved the mountains, specifically the Smokey and the Rocky Mountains. Sue looked forward every year Christmas shopping with her sister. She loved gospel music, jazz, blues, and anything Elvis.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, John Conley of Warner Robins, GA; daughters: Stefanie Conley (Ryan Holmes) of Macon, GA and Kristina McLeod (Mat) of Unadilla, GA; stepson: John Conley, Jr. (Ruth) of Bedford, IN; step-grandchildren: Brittany Ford (Daniel) of Mansfield, OH and Cade Conley (Andrea) of Bedford, IN; two great-grandchildren; brother: Joseph Chandler (Audrey); sister: Andrea Pritchard (Jayson) of Perry, GA; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
