Obituary for Tam Van Hoang

Warner Robins, GA – Tam Van Hoang, 70, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the Houston Medical Center. The visitations for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 and Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Services celebrating his life will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 11:00 am(tentative) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by a private family ceremony on July 31, 2020 at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Father Peter Nguyen and Father Martino Nguyen will be officiating.
Tam was born on July 20, 1950 in Thuy Giang, Vietnam to the late Tuan Van Hoang and Rieu Thi Nguyen. He worked hard all his life providing for his family. Tam was a retired farmer. He enjoyed working with his hands, specifically carpentry. He was always creating a new project or addition to the family home. When he was not working, Tam enjoyed fishing, traveling, and eating, which is what he loved the most. Tam loved to experience new cuisines, especially on their worldwide travels. He was a member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Thanh Thi Vu of Warner Robins; children: Phong The Hoang of Belgium, Van Nhu Thi Lai of Warner Robins, Vu Hoang of Norway and Leann Tuyen Hoang of Warner Robins; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 7 brothers and sisters.
