Obituary for Terry James Benoit
Warner Robins, GA – Terry James Benoit, 82, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA. Services celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 11:00 am at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with interment immediately following at Magnolia Park Cemetery and Mausoleum. Terry was born on August 23, 1940, in Lafayette, LA to the late Jack and Leola (Sattler) Benoit. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force for twenty-two years, where he retired at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Terry went on to work as an operations director for Ball Systems, a defense contractor, where he also retired. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and gardening, but his greatest love was his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of sixty years, Diane (Yates) Benoit of Warner Robins, GA; sons: David Benoit of El Reno, OK, Michael Benoit (Sheila) of Forsyth, GA, and Kevin Benoit (Brenda) of Warner Robins, GA; daughter: Liane Benoit of Warner Robins, GA; grandsons: Jacob Benoit and Mason Benoit (Haylee); great-grandsons: Myles Benoit and Cannon Benoit; sisters: Janice Steward and Jackie Cormier both of Church Point, LA; brothers: John Benoit (Verbie) of Addis, LA, Winston Benoit (Kathy) of Sulphur, LA, and Steve Benoit (Carolann) of Livingston, TX; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
