Obituary for Theodoris Scott (Johnson)
Perry, GA – Theodoris (Johnson) Scott, 73, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at her residence. Services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Oak Ridge Memorial Park, 1501 Bethel Valley Road, Oak Ridge Tennessee, with Minister Vernon Sansom officiating.
Doris was born on January 3, 1948 in Knoxville, TN to the late Willie Otis Johnson and Amanda (Buis) Johnson. She was a hard - working lady, who always put her family first and made sure that their needs were met. Doris enjoyed hosting family dinner parties, playing cards, and listening to R&B music…her favorite was The Isley Brothers. She will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Lorraine Scott of Warner Robins, GA and Inez Scott of Perry, GA; son: Vincent Scott of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren: Shara Scott Cody (Lewis) and T’Airra Scott; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends.
