Troy began is his lifelong career in the luxury motor coach industry at Blue Bird Wanderlodge in Fort Valley, GA while he was in High School. He moved on to Buddy Greg motorhomes in Lakeland, FL and later in Lewisville, TX. In 2001 He answered the call from the Konigseder family to open the service department at Liberty Coach of Florida in Stuart. Troy felt his job at Liberty Coach was the pinnacle of his career.
Troy was an adrenaline junky and always loved fast cars, roller coasters and theme parks. Most weekends he and Lesa could be found in Orlando visiting Universal or Disney. One of his most prized possession was his Corvette Stingray. Troy was the most honest and loyal man that ever lived. He was hardworking, (and thought everyone else should be as well!) kind and generous to a fault. His sense of humor was unique, to say the least! Troy loved his friends and his family. In his later years, Troy’s grandchildren brought him so much joy.
Troy is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lesa; son, Logan (Ashley) Moody of Port Saint Lucie, FL; daughter, Lea (Christopher) Pollak of Palm City, FL; sister, Cathy (Gary) Bramlett of Perry, GA; sister, Dorian (Keith) Rebelo of Oakdale, CA; sister, Laurie (Forest) Pitts of Birmingham, AL; sister-in-laws Jeannie Cummings of Fort Valley, GA and Rita (Shane) Faulkner of Adairsville, GA; and 5 wonderful grandchildren: Alani Moody, Emily Pollak, Lennox Moody, Lincoln Moody and Ayala Moody.
Troy was preceded in death by his parents William and Elizabeth Moody.
With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
