Obituary for Virginia Wilson Allsep
Byron, GA – Virginia (Wall) Wilson Allsep, 82, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Heart of Georgia Inpatient Unit. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with a private family interment immediately following at Magnolia Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Heart of Georgia Hospice Inpatient Unit, 1120 Morningside Dr., Perry, GA 31069.
Virginia was born in Cochran, GA on January 23, 1937 to the late John and Sue (McDuffie) Wall. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Virginia loved to travel, especially to South Dakota and Colorado during the summer months. She enjoyed planting flowers and having her hummingbirds come to visit. Virginia prided herself on being a homemaker and taking care of her family. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Wall.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Douglas D. Allsep of Byron, GA; sons: David Wilson (Becky) of Bonham, TX and Randy Wilson (Tami) of Perry, GA; daughter: Denise Henderson of Valdosta, GA; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
