Obituary for Virginia Louise Sheckells (Jackson)
Perry, GA – Virginia Louise (Jackson) Sheckells, 85, passed away on November 3, 2020 at the Houston Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimers Association, 886 Mulberry St., Macon, GA 31201.
Virginia was born on December 1, 1934 in Baltimore, MD to the late Lester and Mamie Jackson. She worked hard all her life to provide the needs of her family. In her spare time, Virginia enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, playing board games, and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Susan Solis of Byron, GA and Cindy Sheckells of Odenton, MD; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
