Obituary for William David Mosley
Macon, GA- William David Mosley Sr., 78, passed away peacefully at his residence at Carlyle Place on Monday, July 8, 2019. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the National Rifle Association, 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030.
Dave was born on April 2, 1941 in Americus, Georgia to the late Terry Saxton. He spent the majority of his working career as a sales representative for Parke Davis and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Dave loved spending his time hunting, fishing and drinking his usual Budweiser. He was also an avid supporter of the second amendment. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-nine years, Gloria Sanders.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, William David (Lori) Mosley; daughter, Ginny (Jeff) Childers; grandchildren, Colin Mosley, Sanders Mosley, Wilson Childers, Greg Childers and a sister, Margaret Ann Rawlings.
