Obituary for Willie Mae Dyer (Brisker)

God saw you were getting weary,
He did what he thought was best,
He came and stood beside you and whispered,
“Come and Rest.”
You bid none farewell or even said goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why.
We call it death,
To her tis life eternal.

Ms. Willie Mae Dyer was born on October 4, 1936 and raised by the late Dan and Leona Duncan. She was baptized at an early age and a member of Second Evergreen Baptist Church in Alexandria, Louisiana.

In June 2016 she moved to Warner Robins, Georgia where she lived until her death.
Momma was a joy to be around, and everyone enjoyed her wittiness. She enjoyed sharing her love for cooking and baking with her neighbors, family, and friends. “You could always count on momma to feed you and show you genuine love and support.”

Our Gratitude

Perhaps you called us on the phone or visited us for a while to keep us from being alone. You may have sent flowers or a card to show you cared. Possibly you didn’t come at all but remembered us in prayer. What a kindness extended in momma’s passing is accepted with sincere gratitude and thanks that’s everlasting. In due course, we hope to personally express our gratitude to each of you who came, who prayed and who comforted us.
