Obituary for Mary Tanner Sims
Macon, GA- Mary Conlon Tanner Sims, 82, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 in Fayetteville, GA. Funeral services celebrating her life will be Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Burpee-Scott Chapel. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 14 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel.
Mary was born in Queens , New York on October 5, 1934 to the late James and Anna Burke Conlon. She was the proud mother of four children who she adored. Family was her number one priority and she was always putting everyone before herself. She was primarily a stay home mom for most of her life.
Mary is survived by her children: Daniel Tanner (Jean), Fayetteville, GA; Nora Hufnagel (Larry), Lake Grove, NY; Brenda Pfost (Stevie), Lindenhurst, NY; Edward Tanner (Janet), Bonaire, GA; step-children: Joey Sims (Amy), Neal Sims (Audrey), Shane Spell (Shane); grandchildren: Christopher (Cindy), Lisa (Curt), Jimmy, Kathy, Dina, Steven, John, Elizabeth & Matthew; step-grandchildren: Corey, Joshua, Ashley (Joe), Nikki, Patrick, Carleigh, Garrett, Hope, Danicah & Kasen; great-grandchildren: Andrew, Madelyn, Jackson & Tanner; sister: Annie Conlon, Mount Arlington, NJ.
