Obituary for Rosa Marie Waldrop (Hoover)
Perry- Rosa Marie Hoover Waldrop, 78, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Burpee-Scott Chapel with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm in Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
Rosa was born on July 29, 1938 in Hendersonville, North Carolina to the late George and Anna Rogers Hoover. She was a retired inspector from Anchor Glass Company in Warner Robins , GA. Rosa was a simple person who loved life, especially her family, who she always put above herself. In addition to her parents, Rosa was preceded in death by her son, Richard Dean Waldrop.
Rosa is survived by her husband of 58 years, Girard “Robin” Waldrop, Perry; daughters: Anna Waldrop Bovee, Puyallup, WA and Brenda Waldrop Peek, Kathleen; her beloved pit-bull, Tyson; 5 grandchildren: Tiffany (Matt), Stephanie, Buster, Kimberly, Kelly (Dylan); 10 great-grandchildren: Evan, Luke, Emery, Ainsley, Eliana, Lavin, Landen, Owen, Tatum & Bella.
