Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Leslie Howard can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Leslie Norris Howard

Leslie Norris  Howard
Bonaire – Leslie N. Howard, 81, joined his beloved wife Betty and his Lord in heaven on Friday, March 10, 2017. Services celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Burpee-Scott Chapel with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Dennis Clark will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Southside Baptist Church, Warner Robins or to a church of choice.
Les was born on May 31, 1935 to the late George Nelson and Alma Macomber Howard in Swampscott, Massachusetts. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force where he retired as a Tech Sergeant and continued his service as a civil service employee at Robins Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic from which he also retired. Les was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He loved to restore antique cars and was a member of the Warner Robins Antique Car Club. He also served as a judge for regional antique car shows.
Les leaves behind to cherish his memory, a son: Philip Howard (Jennifer), Bonaire; daughters: Lorena Mixon and Tina Howard, Bonaire; brother: Larry Howard, Venice, FL, his grandchildren and numerous friends.
