Leonard Joseph "Len"  Quick
Kathleen- Leonard Joseph Quick, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Funeral services to celebrate Len’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel with interment following in Milledgeville at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
Len was born on February 10, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Edward Robert and Agnes Theresa Malinoski Quick. He faithfully served his country for 14 years in the United States Navy, where he served on the USS Independence, before being honorably discharged. He later became the maintenance supervisor for Winslow Apartments in Perry, GA from which he retired. Len loved to entertain and absolutely loved music, it was his passion. He sang and played in his very own country music band. Len was a very caring and generous person, always putting others before himself.
Len is survived by his adoring wife of 22 years, Linda Grimes Quick of Kathleen; daughters: Angela Selph, Hawkinsville and Amy Taylor (Brett), Centerville; son: Rick Selph (Cindy), Defuniak Springs, FL; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister: Bernadette “Bernie” Vece (Mark), Baltimore, MD; brothers: Robert Joseph Quick (Kass) and Edward Michael Quick (Joyce), Baltimore, MD and several nieces and nephews. His love can be found within all his family and friends.
