Warner Robins- Elaine Joan Davidson, 84, passed away on Saturday morning with her family by her side. The family will have a private ceremony in Andersonville National Cemetery. The family respectfully request in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Christ United Methodist Church, 511 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
Elaine was born on January 9, 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Albert and Marie Kunkel Witschger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Monroe Davidson, whom she will be laid to rest with in Andersonville National Cemetery. Elaine was retired from Kroger Grocery, where she worked as a food demonstrator. She loved her job and the people she worked with and whom she met on a daily basis. Prior to beginning her career at Kroger, Elaine worked as a hand model while living in Clarksville, Maryland. She volunteered with the PTO, where she was very active, the Board of Elections and the DMV. Elaine attended Christ United Methodist Church in Warner Robins.
Elaine is survived by her beloved son, Wayne Albert Davidson (Jennifer), Warner Robins; 2 grandchildren: Keri Hughes & Tyler Davidson; brother: Dwight Witschger, Cincinnati, OH; sister: Barbara Hupp, Cincinnati, OH.
