Macon-Benjamin Willard Etheridge, Jr., 62, went home to his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in Macon,GA.
Ben was born June 26, 1954 to the late Benjamin Willard Etheridge, Sr. and Cora Fellows Etheridge in Macon, GA. He was a longtime member of Antioch Baptist Church in Dry Branch. He retired from Koch Trucking Co. When he wasn’t on the road working, he was at his home surrounded by his beloved family cheering on his Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets or Atlanta Falcons. He was a large man who lived a very simple life.
Ben is survived by is his wife, Charlotte Lannon Etheridge; daughter: Tiffany Etheridge Watson(Michael); son: Stephen Etheridge(Kristy); 3 grandchildren: Connor, Cameron & Kaiden; 4 sisters: Sara Mayson, Betty Childers, Gerry Watts & Vickie Flynn and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Etheridge residence on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Graveside services will be Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 2:00 pm in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Dry Branch.The family has respectfully requested in lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Benjamin Etheridge Go Fund Me.
