Benjamin  Stanley Jr.
Warner Robins- Benjamin Stanley, Jr., 83, on December 24, 2017, heard the voice of Jesus say, “ Come Unto Me and Rest” at his residence in Warner Robins, GA. Services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11: 00 am in Hebron Fellowship Baptist Church, 3200 Hwy. 41 N, Byron, GA 31008. The visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
Mr. Stanley was born on April 7, 1934 in Dexter, GA to the late Benjamin and Estellar (Bullard) Stanley, Sr. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Clara (Gipson) Stanley on August 31, 1956. He was a devoted husband, caring father, awesome grandfather, cherished family member and a faithful friend. Mr. Stanley proudly and faithfully served his country in the United States Army and was a retired truck driver from Crowley Trucking after many years of service. He served and worshipped his Lord at Second Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Miami, FL.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Clara (Gipson) Stanley of Miami, FL; daughters: Carol Stanley-Olajide (Emmanuel) of Warner Robins, GA and Valerie Myers of Byron, GA; grandchildren: Sade, Khadijah and Michael; sister: Cillar Stanley of Miami, FL; sisters-in-law: Geraldine Mack of Byron, GA and Clara Stanley of Baltimore, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
