Obituary for Betty Howard (Farrow)
Bonaire- Mary Betty Howard, 82, went home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. The family has requested to celebrate Betty’s life in a private funeral service.
Betty was born on August 3, 1934 to the late Lewis and Mary Maybelle Luker Farrow in Piedmont, SC. She retired from Timberlake Grocery Company as a Key Punch Supervisor. She worshipped and served her Lord at Southside Baptist Church. Betty was also a former Sunday school teacher. She loved traveling, crocheting, sewing and reading. She will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Gaskins.
Betty leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 59 years, Leslie N. Howard; son: Philip Howard (Jennifer), Bonaire; daughters: Lorena Mixon and Tina Howard, Bonaire; 3 grandchildren and her brother, Stanley Farrow, Piedmont, SC.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity or church of choice.
