Obituary for Carl Arthur Briscoe
Fort Valley- Carl Arthur Briscoe, 58, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Houston Medical Center. Funeral services celebrating his life will be Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm in Burpee-Scott Chapel. The family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at 6:00 pm until service time and immediately following the services. Carl’s family has asked that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St, Macon, GA 31201.
Carl was born in Macon on November 21, 1958 to the late Albert Randolph and Catherine Parker Briscoe. He worked as a truck driver, hauling for Garrett Martin in Bonaire, GA. If Carl wasn’t working, he could be found at home watching a sci-fi movie or an old western.
Carl is survived by his wife, Sara Culpepper Briscoe; daughter: Brandy Briscoe(Hiram Marshall); son: Michael Briscoe(Melissa); step-sons: Lee and Nathan Ellis; 8 grandchildren; sister: Jeannie Moon(Terry); brother: Albert Lee Briscoe(Linda).
