Obituary for Carol Cannon

WARNER ROBINS, GA- Carol (Kayser) Cannon, 72, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 25, 2020. Due to the current restrictions on public gatherings, there will be a private graveside service for family only on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Perry Memorial Gardens. Chaplain Todd Shearin will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to Kindred Hospice, C/O Grace Foundation, 105 Jim Mason Court, Suite 100 Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
Mrs. Carol was born on October 26, 1947 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Clayton Elsworth and Theresa Bell (Belcher) Kayser. After working many years as a bookkeeper, she retired from Macon Feed and Seed in 1997. Carol was a devout Christian and a lifelong member of Felicity United Methodist Church in Ohio. She was a former Girl Scout leader and hair stylist. Carol loved baking her family and friends’ favorite sweets and she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Carol loved to see the happiness in other people. She left a lasting imprint on all who knew her and will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Marshall Kayser.
Left to cherish her beloved memory is her husband of thirty-one years, Clyde Cannon; her daughters, Lynnette Schwiegeraht, Krista (Joseph) Scarborough, and Angelic Childress; grandchildren, William Schwiegeraht, Allison Schwiegeraht, Andrew Scarborough, Evan Scarborough, and Jonathan Childress; one brother, Larry Kayser and two sisters, Mary Ruth Parker and Beverly Kayser.
Please visit to leave a memorial tribute for the family. It is with great honor that Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
