Obituary for David Owen Hornsby
Bonaire- David Owen Hornsby, 66, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Services celebrating his life will be held in New Brockton, AL where he will be laid to rest next to his parents in Old Tabernacle Cemetery.
David was born on July 29, 1950 to the late Melvin Oree and Hazel Virginia Baker Hornsby in Ariton, AL. After high school David pursued his passion of eletronics working for a TV repair business before moving to Warner Robins, where he worked and retired from Robins Air Force Base as an Electronics Technician. David loved building computers, hunting and fishing in his spare time.
David is survived by his son: Preston Hornsby, Centerville; brother: Justin Oree Hornsby (Joan); nieces: Carla Denise Kelly and Crissy Pope; several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has charge of arrangements.
