Obituary for Gary L. Smith
Warner Robins-Gary L. Smith, 66, passed away December 24, 2016 with his daughter, who was his best friend, by his side. Services celebrating his life will be Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm in Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel with visitation one hour prior and immediately following the services. Family request in lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society of Houston County, 801 Carl Vinson Pkwy., Centerville, GA 31028.
Gary was born on July 27, 1950 to the late Riley Smith and Colleen Watson Meredith in Lake Wells, Florida. He was raised in Dothan, AL where he was a 1970 graduate of Dothan High School. Gary lived a very active life and had many passions, some of which were: golfing, hot rods, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle but his greatest passion were his Alabama Crimson Tide, Roll Tide!
Gary leaves behind his beloved daughter: Gretchen Smith and her husband Shane Almeida, Warner Robins; granddaughter: Ava Almeida, Warner Robins; brother: Davey Meredith (Melissa), Dothan, AL and his beloved Boston terrier, Bandit.
