Warner Robins- Barbara Jean Reynolds Carley, 76, went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Heart of Georgia Inpatient Unit. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 1:00 pm in Oakland Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
Jean was born on August 19, 1940 in Fredericksburg, VA to the late Claude and Joyce Simmons Reynolds. She was a longtime member of Oakland Baptist Church, where she served on the board of trustees and various other ministries. Jean retired from Bone construction in Deltona, FL, where she worked as the office manager. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Whitson.
Left to cherish her memory , is her beloved husband: Kenneth Carley, Warner Robins; her children: Tammy O’Brian, Pennsylvania, Kenneth Paul Carley, Jr. , New Jersey and Renee Carley, Virginia; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister: Louise Watson, Virginia.
