Obituary for Juan Cruz "Ramon" Marquez
Warner Robins- Juan Ramon Cruz Marquez, 86, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Juan will be entombed in Puerto Rico at a later date. At the family’s request all services will be private.
Juan was born on September 15, 1930 to the late Ramon Cruz and Luisa Marquez in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. After his high school graduation , Juan was drafted into the United States Army where he served during the Korean Conflict. Juan completed his military service honorably and went on to graduate college with a Bachelors degree in education. He spent his career educating children with the Puerto Rico Department of Education, where he later retired. He also worked as an accountant.
Juan is survived by his loving wife, Lidia Carrasquillo Mendez; his daughter, Lydia Matta(Jose) and a host of other close family and friends.
