Warner Robins –Marsha Faye (Thomas) Parton, 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at her residence. A visitation with family and friends will be held July 25, 2018 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with interment immediately following at Perry Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be made to The Bridge building fund, 2758 US-41, Fort Valley, GA 31030.

Marsha was born on August 25, 1952 to the late Charles and Mary (Thrasher) Thomas. Marsha served her community by educating young children with the Houston County Board of Education. When Marsha wasn’t working with young children she could be found fishing. One of Marsha’s favorite things to do was to travel, whether it be camping or going on a cruise. Marsha was an avid shopper who loved to shop until she would drop. Marsha never met a stranger and took it upon herself to always make everyone smile and laugh. Marsha will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Marsha was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles “Frankie” Thomas, and Bruce Thomas.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband; James Parton, Children; James Parton, and Amy Parton, Grandchildren; Briana Felder, Jay Parton, Olivia Parton, and Hayden Parton, Siblings; Shirley (Tony) Perry, Johnny (Bonnie) Thomas, and Judy (Larry) Fowler.
